Lady Gaga is headed to Houston — again — on new concert tour

Lady Gaga comes back to Houston and the Toyota Center on July 16, 2014 as part of her latest tour, artRave: The ARTPOP Ball.

Lady Gaga sure seems to like Houston. Her new tour, artRave: The ARTPOP Ball, announced on Tuesday, includes a stop at the Toyota Center on July 16, 2014. It will the singer's fourth concert in the Bayou City in five years (she performed two concerts in 2010, one in 2011 and one earlier this year, where she mistakenly thanked "Dallas" before apologizing profusely.)

Lady Gaga will hit 25 different cities across North America on her latest tour, including San Antonio on July 14 and Dallas on July 17. The tour will start on May 4 in Fort Lauderdale, around a month after she finishes a historic run of seven straight concerts at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City, the last concerts to ever be put on at that venue.

As per usual, Lady Gaga has been everywhere following the Nov. 6 release of her third album, Artpop. She hosted Saturday Night Live on Nov. 16 and teamed up with the Muppets for another Thanksgiving special, Lady Gaga and the Muppets' Holiday Spectacular.

Strangely enough, Artpop won't even be her latest album by the time Lady Gaga comes to town. Those honors go to Cheek to Cheek, a jazz/big band duets album with Tony Bennett due in Jan. 2014. While the classic Bennett may seem like a strange pairing with the eccentric Lady Gaga, the two have collaborated before on a song on his 2011 album, Duets II.

Tickets for the Houston date officially go on sale on Dec. 16, but true fans will have their hands on them well before that. Members of LittleMonsters.com have access to tickets starting Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m. Members can RSVP for the show they want, after which they'll get a unique code that will allow them to buy up to four tickets through Thursday, Dec. 5, at 5 p.m. Citi cardmembers will also have access to pre-sale tickets starting on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

Alanis Morissette drops in for exclusive concert at intimate Houston hall

A very limited number of fans will be able to see an exclusive concert by singer Alanis Morissette, who will perform at White Oak Music Hall on Friday, May 29.

The concert will be part of the Wells Fargo Autograph Card Exclusives concert series, meaning that only Wells Fargo credit cardholders will be able to buy tickets.

Morissette visited the Houston area relatively recently, playing at Cynthia Wood Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands on June 16, 2024, but this will be a rare opportunity for fans to see her perform in a small, 1,000-capacity venue.

The singer just celebrated the 30th anniversary of her 1995 breakthrough album, Jagged Little Pill, which featured hits like "You Oughta Know," "You Learn," "Hand in My Pocket," "Ironic," and "Head Over Feet."

She has gone on to release 10 albums in her career, most recently The Storm Before the Calm in 2022.

She also turned Jagged Little Pill into a Broadway show of the same name, which came to Houston in 2023.

Tickets for the concert are now available for Wells Fargo Autograph cardholders. Tickets will go on sale for all Wells Fargo credit cardholders beginning at 10 am on Thursday, April 9.
