Chris Brown claims he was just "entertaining" in Twitter war with Houston comicJenny Johnson
Like his on-again, off-again relationship with pop star Rihanna, Chris Brown vanished from Twitter on Sunday after a vulgar exchange with Houston-based comedy writer and self-professed Brown hater Jenny Johnson.
The Los Angeles Times reports that Brown's account became active again on Monday, just long enough to show that his sexually-explicit tirade had been removed from his feed and an explanation put in its place: "To teambreezy . . . Know that I'm not upset. Just felt like entertaining the ignorance. Further proved my point of how immature society is."
That didn't stop the barrage of death threats that the Team Breezy army has posted to Johnson's account since the weekend spat (those are currently under investigation by Twitter), but perhaps that is because his followers didn't see the message — Brown soon deleted his account. Again.
This isn't the first time the young R&B singer has parted ways with social media. Brown did the same in 2009 following accusations against Walmart for "blackballing" his album, Graffiti.
