School's back and just in time: Embarrassing sign earns Meyerland Plaza an F inspelling
Hey, remember when Fox News misspelled "education" in a segment about … education?
The good folks at Meyerland Plaza have made another accidental yet persuasive argument for school with the new back-to-school message on their billboard. The sign reads "Drive carefull/School starts/Thank you MPSC"
Ignoring the elegant linguistic minimalism of "school starts," it would be easy to dismiss the spelling of "carefull" as the result of an errant letter 'y' at the end falling down. But according to Caroline Starry LeBlanc, who snapped this photo, unfortunately this typo can't be explained away that easily.
"It was written exactly the same way on the other side of the marquis," she wrote in a Facebook post.
