$10 million golfer plays a round with Houstonian on the links in Aspen
There are so many well-heeled Houstonians in Aspen at this time of year that it's practically impossible to round a corner without running into at least a few H-Town notables. Add to that the celebrities that pass through the Rocky Mountain playground of the rich and famous and you have a potent mix of high-rollers and high profile types.
Case in point, the High Country Shootout at the Aspen Golf Club that drew FedEx Cup $10 million champion Billy Horschel. On the cover of Golf magazine, Horschel was in Aspen in support of that community's junior golf foundation.
Houstonian Marc Ostrofsky, who keeps a home and his Ferrari in Aspen, scored a round of golf with Horschel and took advantage of the meet-up for a friendly photo — with a copy of the magazine. Ostrofsky emails, "The current 'coverboy' ofGolf Magazine got financial advice on how to invest his recent $10 Million windfall for winning the FedEx Cup."
Ostrofsky sent the Horschel photos to CultureMap along with the photo of him and his wife, Beverle, in the company of presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
