Love Match or Just Good Friends? J.J. Watt spotted in Paris with beautiful blonde tennis star
Is it a budding romance or just a fast friendship?
That's what enquiring minds want to know after Houston Texans superstar and fan favorite J.J. Watt was recently spotted in Paris, where he apparently crossed the pond to support Danish tennis star Caroline Wozniacki, who was competing in the French Open. A fan snapped the couple together while shopping in the City of Light.
Wozniacki, who was seeded fifth in the tournament, was upset in the second round by Germany's Julia Goerges in straight sets. 6-4, 7-6 (4).
The couple was first spotted together at the NCAA men's basketball championship in Indianapolis last month, where Watt's beloved Wisconsin Badgers lost to Duke in the final game. A week or so later they were snapped together at Fisher Island, Fla., where Wozniacki was also spotted practicing her game on a green court.
After the basketball game, a rep for Wozniacki told The Daily Mail that the relationship with Watt was purely platonic: "They're just friends." It's understandable she might remain mum on the subject. She was previously engaged to golf star Rory McIlroy, who abruptly called off the wedding last year with a phone call just days after invitations were sent out.
There are no hints about where the relationship stand on either Watt's or Wozniacki's social media accounts, although the tennis star playfully posted photos of homemade bakery goods on Instagram.
"Spending most of the day in the kitchen being a real house wife," she wrote. "Nothing better than freshly baked bread rolls and cinnamon bun! thinking about opening a "Caro's bakery" one day."
