Green Day: Insider tips on where to watch Houston's St. Patrick's Parade — and down a brew, too

St. Patrick's Day means green gear, dark beer and, of course, the annual Houston St. Patrick's Day Parade — now in its 54th year — starting near Minute Maid Stadium on Saturday at noon.
Donna McKenzie, noted radio personality and 2013 parade grand marshal, divulges to staff writer Tyler Rudick the most optimal spots for posting up and spotting the floats in this CultureMap Moment.
But if pubs are more your beat, parade chairman Sean Kearns suggests that revelers walk into any place they see green.
"Everybody's Irish on St. Patrick's Day," says Kearns.
