The scoop: Three-time Olympian Lolo Jones shared her moving story of having been homeless as a child and her family finding shelter and hope within the care of the Salvation Army in Iowa. Her inspirational story carried her through fame and success and her current schedule of training for the 2016 Olympics in Brazil.
Chaired by Ann and John Bookout, the luncheon honored long-time supporter Jeanie Kilroy Wilson and raised $545,000 for Salvation Army programs.
