Lady VIPs flock to The Galleria for invite-only elegant event at swanky store
The gents supporting the 17th annual Una Notte in Italia men's fashion romp will have their moment in the spotlight on Nov. 7 at the Westin Galleria Hotel. The ladies behind the scenes of the popular testosterone-infused evening had their feminine fashion moment earlier this week.
As is tradition with the fundraiser for Bo's Place, special friends of the event are feted at a luncheon in a swank Galleria boutique. This year, Valentino opened its doors for the invitation-only gathering chaired by Melissa Mithoff and Alissa Maples.
The ladies responded to Valentino's hospitality by arriving in the latest looks and almost all either wearing Valentino shoes or carrying a Valentino bag, the Rockstud Pumps particularly popular. The boutique, headed by manager Sonya Shernak, reciprocated by donating 10 percent of the day's sales to Bo's Place in honor of the fundraiser.
Leading the luncheon group were gala chairs Christie Sullivan and Jennifer Brown and Una Notte in Italia founder and honorary chair Debbie Festari. In from Valentino New York for the luncheon were events and marketing honchos Yelena Katchan and Mary Massey.
Among the fashionistas shopping Valentino and sitting down for an elegant lunch by A Fare Extraordinaire were Vivian Dugger, Joanna Marks, Liz Glanville, Katherine Treistman, Tatiana Green, Vivian Wise and Megan Sutton-Reed.
