Powerful images of kid heart surgery survivors: This photographer brings second chances home

The 411: Popular photographer Fulton Davenport of PWL Studio teamed with HeartGift, which provides heart surgery for underserved children around the world, to present an exhibition of images of children who have benefited from the non-profit's efforts. Each of the seven children in the images had heart surgery in Houston.
For the benefit of HeartGift, Fulton's work is being sold as a one of a kind artist proof, 13” x 18”, and then a one of a kind final print, 36” x 48” image, on canvas. On opening night of the exhibition, 10 of the 21 pieces were sold.
Based in Austin, HeartGift partners with Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. The non-profit seeks to serve more than 30 children this year.
