The Weeknd's fashion collection pops up at Houston boutique just in time for his show
The Weeknd sure is into fashion. The singer, who brings his Starboy Legend of the Fall World Tour to the Toyota Center Saturday night, has teamed up with legendary graffiti artist Futura 2000 to launch a global pop-up collection in eight cities, including Houston.
The Starboy 2017 capsule collection combines Futura's handstyle and character drawings with The Weeknd's XO iconography andStarboy album lyrics on T-shirts, hoodies, embroidered Levi's denim jackets, skate decks, caps and bomber jackets. Prices range from $28 - $295.
The collection, along with limited edition designs exclusive to Houston, will be available at The Webster at The Galleria, 5045 Westheimer, from Thursday through Saturday (May 5 - 7).
The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, and girlfriend (and fashion favorite) Selena Gomez made their red carpet debut as a couple earlier this week at the 2017 Met Gala in New York City, which is the fashion equivalent of the Oscars. He also has been a guest stylist for H&M, selection of number of essential wardrobe pieces dubbed "Spring Icons," and is working on a sneaker collaboration with Puma.
