While etiquette experts continue to ponder whether it's OK for the bride to wear white to her second wedding, Tina Knowles had no such worries when she wed Richard Lawson Sunday on a 140-foot-yacht off the coast of Newport Beach, Calif.
The 61-year-old Houston designer, businesswoman and mother of singers Beyoncé and Solange donned a smart white silk crepe Romona Keveza gown featuring an asymmetrical one-shoulder bodice, column skirt, silver metal belt, and a transparent tulle overskirt when she and Lawson, a 67-year-old actor who has appeared on All My Children and Dynasty, exchanged vows on the sailing vessel named Eternity.
Just about everyone else at the wedding wore white too, including the groom in a white tux, Beyoncé, in a white lace dress and floral headpiece, hubby Jay Z, in a white suit, daughter Blue Ivy and sister Solange, in a sleeveless white dress. Beyoncé and Jay Z helicoptered in from the nearby Coachella Music Festival, according to TMZ.
Knowles and Lawson began dating in 2013, two years after she and Mathew Knowles, the father of the singers, divorced after a long marriage.
