METRORail — U-H Downtown
|
Step off the train and into the urban realm. Though only seven miles long, METRORail connects the core of Houston culture.
The University of Houston Downtown campus is the last stop on the line — or the first, depending on which way you are going. The train stops only a few steps away from the main UH-D building, and is within walking distance of the CultureMap offices, DiverseWorks Art Space, Last Concert Cafe, Houston Studios and other buidings in the Warehouse District.
If you need a caffeine fix, U of H Downtown has a Starbucks in its cafeteria. It's usually open during the day while classes are in session.
