Hotel Sorella

A modern marvel rising on the west side, Hotel Sorella anchors the spanking-new CityCentre mixed-use development. The hotel itself begins on the second floor above beer emporium The Yard House and Singaporean restaurant Straits, and once you emerge at the top of the stairs (or from the elevator) this place is a sight to behold. High ceilings and sparkling onyx mark the front desk, and luxe Moroccan touches dot the stunning Monnalisa bar, with beautiful wrought iron doors to the pool area, a central fire pit, and lights arranged in the ceiling space to mimic a starry sky. Alex Brennan-Martin (of Brennan's) is also opening two new concepts here, one an elegant bistro and another more casual eatery. And cutting-edge modern doesn't just describe the decor—it's also true of the technology. Each of the 244 rooms has a Media Hub HD panel, able to wirelessly stream music (as well as photos and video) from a guest's mp3 player through the high-definition TV. There are also thousands of HD movies available for streaming at no cost.
