ArtistaHouston
Artista mirrors the elegant beauty of Grace Kelly. Housed in the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, this stunning, elegant fashion plate from Latin innovator Michael Cordua is a statuesque beauty sleekly swathed with blond drapes. Artista’s alluring beauty is heightened by one of the best views of downtown Houston. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame a sweeping skyline that heightens the drama of the bi-level dining room. While Cordua is most famous for his Latin innovations, Artista is his modern Latin interpretation with global allusions. Along with Peruvian lobster-and-shrimp bisque, the Nicaraguan restaurateur ladles miso soup with avocado and wonton crisp. His famous crispy crawfish taquitos and Peruvian-style ceviche continue to anchor the menu, along with churrasco steaks and maple-brined pork chops with green apple potato hash and orange chipotle sauce.
Table 8 is the best spot to see city lights. It can accommodate up to eight people.
