This single city block is a bull's-eye in the center of the Theater District. On one side is Jones Hall, north is the Alley Theatre and right across the street is the Angelika Theater, with the Wortham Center, Hobby Center and Verizon Wireless Theater all a stone's throw away as well. And then there are the countless restaurants, bars and, oh yes, corporate headquarters that are just a stroll away. Jones Plaza has concession stands and a permanent stage to accommodate the events that are often held here. But even if there’s nothing going on, you can simply hang under a Mexican sycamore tree and let the fountain lull you out of the Houston heat. And it sure looks pretty lit up at night.
