Add to Other Calendars (iCal file format)Da Camera of Houston kicks off its 25th anniversary season of chamber music and jazz with a concert that features masterworks by Bach and Mendelssohn and a special Da Camera-commissioned world premiere by Pierre Jalbert, winner of the Rome Prize and Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center's Stoeger Award.
Friends and Da Camera favorites from near and far, including artists who performed on Da Camera's very first season and representatives of the next generation of chamber musicians, gather for this festive concert. Pianist and artistic and general director Sarah Rothenberg is the featured soloist in Bach's Keyboard Concerto No. 1 in D Minor.
