The co-founder of CultureMap.com, Houston-based serial technology entrepreneur Nic Phillips has diverse interests from high-performance lighting and entertainment technologies, to software, digital media and entertainment properties. He began his career as a theatrical lighting designer has designed and produced major international entertainment experiences for the likes of Disney and the Mexican Government. He has a lifelong passion for the automotive industry and motorsports and currently serves as a Vice-President of the Texas Automotive Writers Association.

His latest startup wattsON Power is the exclusive distributor of robust, utility-grade continuous power solutions, highly efficient electric motors and electric generator technology for the renewable energy industry. He has been featured as one of Business Journal's 40 Under 40, Cadillac's Spirit of Innovation and he is a Director in the Texas Lyceum.
