Women offer to help "nurse" J.J. Watt back to health: Texans star flooded withTwitter requests
Injured Houston Texans star J.J. Watt is finding out just how popular he is with the fans. Especially with the ladies.
It turns out there a lot of would-be amateur nurses in Houston, who are all more than willing to make sure Watt's dislocated left elbow really does heal. Spending time with a football hunk from Wisconsin would surely just be a side consideration.
"There’s a girl over there (watching practice) saying, I’ll give you elbow massages. We have unbelievable fans down here."
"There’s been a ton of support," Watt said at the Texans training camp practice Friday morning in comments relayed by the Texans communications department. "I’ve had girls on Twitter offer to be a nurse.
"There’s a girl over there (watching practice) saying, I’ll give you elbow massages. We have unbelievable fans down here."
You could say that. Watt's teammates — who love to kid the budding second-year standout — will surely have plenty to say about Watt's brigade of willing "nurses." The Texans' Bulls On Parade defense doesn't let anything go. Linebacker Connor Barwin has already dubbed Watt, The Milk Man because "he always delivers and he's white."
Now Watt is sitting out practices, his left arm in a sling, still drawing some of the largest cheers of the day. Plus, some unsolicited, eager-to-please medical help.
