Go-go dancers, a fire juggler and Santa rock the eighth annual Don't StopBelievin' bash at Mercer
Just how over-the-top can a wild and wooly holiday party get? How about one with 600 revelers, a uni-cycling/fire-juggling elf, a jolly Kris Kringle to take Christmas wishes, go-go dancers and DJ Senega dropping the tracks that keep the dance floor packed all night long! Hello, annual Don't Stop Believin' bash.
The party animals that rocked through this scene were still recovering Monday afternoon from the festivities that took place at Mercer lounge on Saturday night.
What's not to love about this event, organized by a group of like-minded young business types, benefiting a different charity each year and more lively than the Bull Pen at a Houston Texans winning game? The Buffalo Bayou Partnership was beneficiary of this year's frolic.
The great thing about the party this time around was the weather. With temps in the 60s, the throng spilled over onto the club's patio, where the schmoozing was spirited. Adding to the hipster holiday fun was that partying Kris Kringle (John McAleer), who wore scuzzy running shoes with his velvet Santa suit.
Hosting Saturday night's party were John and Stacy Andell, Lee Willeford, Jay and Kelly Cliburn, David and Claire de Roode, James Easterling, Tony Essalih, James Gietz, Matty Harris, Jon Paul and Ember Hull, Anil and Katie Mahendra, John and Emily McAleer and Dusty and Christina Wilkerson.
