When young professionals grow up they role play: Getting a Clue was never so much fun
What: A murder mystery affair for a new group of social climbers who have blossomed beyond young professionals but who're still emerging philanthropists.
Where: 5250 Apartments
The 411: Was it Miss Scarlett in the lounge with the lead pipe?
Taking hints from Clue, a new clique of strangers, the Modern Professionals, became co-conspirators during a role-playing social aimed at bringing together local do-gooders who have aged out of the young professionals circle. Helmed by detectives Freddy Goerges, founder and president of Houston Young Professionals, and Jaclynn Hays, the case of the "Murder of a Millionaire" had to be solved.
The clever whodunnit ruse was purposely planned to change things up when it comes to networking events. With each guest playing an active part in the scheme, it was the hope of the organizers that mixing and mingling become a richer, less intimidating experience.
Who: Playing along were Raja Gupta, Jaclynn Hays, Maghan Pruitt, Caitlin Woodman, Gita Kulkarni, Kevin Cousins, Sahrish Agha and Hugo Soto.
