A Christmas Legacy: No "bah, humbugs" allowed at this $200,000 River Oaks holiday party
What: The annual Holiday Schmooze benefiting Legacy Community Health Services.
Where: The River Oaks home of Melissa and Michael Mithoff, who co-chaired the fundraiser with Rosemarie and Matt Johnson.
The 411: More than 250 partygoers were immersed in the ho-ho-ho spirit thanks in no small part to the lavish Christmas decorations filling the Mithoff home, not the least of which was a Christmas tree, created by Darryl Murchison, of original artworks. While sipping holiday cocktails and noshing on taste treats from Jackson and Co., guests raised more than $200,000, not bad for a two-hour cocktail party.
Who: Among those soaking up the holiday cheer were Martha Turner and Glenn Bauguss, Courtney Hopson, Ceron, Shannon Hall, Monsour Taghdisi and Henry Richardson, Phoebe and Bobby Tudor, Tripp Carter, Diane Lokey Farb, Carolyn and Steve Mafrige, Legacy chief development officer Chree Boydston and Legacy CEO Katy Caldwell.
