Three pooches and one kitty found new homes at this fancy SPCA soiree
The once-abandoned pets joining the fashionable crowd at Hotel ZaZa couldn't have asked for a more luxurious setting in which to entice someone to take them home. The pet adoption area for the temporarily unloved critters at the SPCA gala was defined by a 24-foot wall of magnolia leaves and accented with floor urns sprouting bishop hat topiaries.
The cats and dogs looked so divine in their lustrous surroundings that four canines and one feline found loving parents. That, in addition to raising funds for the animal shelter, was the goal of the evening.
Courtney and Jason Fertitta chaired "Le Pooch," the Paris themed evening that included dinner, dancing, a silent auction and a live auction with Letitia Frye, principal of the TLC's new hit seriesAuctioneers, doing the honors.
Pet pals included Randa Duncan Williams and Charles Williams, Suzy and Jim Godwin, Carol and Tommy Harper, Jackie and Ron Whitley, Connie and Scott Mastro and Jeanne and Ed Daniels.
