At least one pair of thong panties flew across the catwalk. An orchid was tossed. And the shower of hoots, hollers and cat calls was accompanied by a forest of bouncing signs: Sexy, 10, Hot, etc. It was par for the course for the raucous Una Notte in Italia, the Festari for Men fundraiser benefiting Family Services of Greater Houston.

With a roster of high-profile and dreamy Houston Texans modeling classic menswear and a host of business leaders and social notables joining the fashion parade at the Omni Houston Hotel, it was a memorable evening — the best ever, according to honorary chairs Debbie and Rudy Festari.

Adding to the benefit's stellar rating was the dance floor action that followed the spirited fashion parade. The popular DJ Gino "G" cranked up the turntables, and the Texans hit the dance floor. Even quarterback Matt Schaub and wife Laurie did a few turns, but called it a night early as they had their new twins to get home to.

Not so for gorgeous back-up quarterback Matt Leinart. The chickies (and there were plenty of hotties in this crowd) went wild for him as he showed off his dance skills. But for dance floor moves, none could tackle the turns of tight end Owen Daniels.

It was a great night for chairs Melissa Mithoff and Elizabeth Petersen, with their significant others — Michael Mithoff and Gary Petersen — on the runway. Joining Debbie Festari on stage as co-announcer was KPRC news anchor Dominique Sachse, whose fiance, Nick Florescu, was also on the runway.

Speaking of runway action, we couldn't believe how Oniel Mendenhall cut loose or the hipster moves of Dr. Cenk Ozdogan — or the obvious nerves of the charming Neal Hamil. Kudos to the modeling skills of Aaron Howes, Steve Mach, Paul Murphy and Houston Texans GM Rick Smith, who had a full table of hooting, hollering fans.

Adding to the giddy fun were Rachel Brown and Jeff Bagwell, both in the process of divorcing (she from Dr. Michael Brown, he from Ericka Bagwell) making their first public outing. Nothing shy about that romance.

Among the partying throng, many of whom continued into the wee morning hours at the hotel's Black Swan bar, were Rosemarie and Matt Johnson (modeling), Diane Lokey Farb, Gina and Dr. Devinder Bhatia (modeling), Courtney Hopson, Kara Howes, Katherine and Bill Phelps, Renee and Fernando Somoza and, in from Paris, Lucas Somoza.

Add Cindi and Dr. Franklin Rose to the mix along with Erica Rose and Ben Rose (modeling), who was celebrating having passed the bar exam only the day before.

Janice McNair, the co-founder of the Houston Texans and senior chair of the organization, has passed away, the team announced on Tuesday.

In a social media post, the Texans said McNair passed away at the age of 89, surrounded by her family.

"Mom was exceptional. She exuded kindness, radiated joy, had an endless amount of hope and love, and lived an incredible life centered around faith, family, philanthropy and football," Texans Chair and CEO Cal McNair, Janice's son, said in a press release.

McNair, who was a breast cancer survivor, grew up in South Carolina and was active in sports and student government before graduating from Columbia College.

The Texans co-founder and her husband, the late Bob McNair, moved to Houston in 1960 and started several of their philanthropic efforts within the community.
