Haute Homecoming brings out everyone's cocktail best as power players party down
What: Spring Branch Education Foundation's "Haute Homecoming" gala.
Where: Hyatt Regency Downtown.
The 411: With more than 400 guests dressing up in their cocktail best, the evening raised more than $225,000 for school programs. Applause, applause for gala chairs Marissa and Duncan Klussmann, Spring Branch ISD superintendent.
Taking bows were U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit, Judge Diane P. Wood who received the Spring Branch ISD Distinguished Alumni Award; Mallory and James Shaddix, who received the Spring Branch Education Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award; and Mike Feinberg, co-founder of KIPP, receiving the Susan & Larry Kellner Champion for Education Award.
Fashion note: Gala committee members distinguished themselves with striking black and silver homecoming mums created by Cheryl McDaniel & Associates.
