The scoop: Regina Romano, Catherine Luebe and Ashley Forrest recently rallied 500 of the city's most philanthropic young professionals at Blue Bird Circle to raise money for the pennies-on-the-dollar resale shop. Fare from Tacos A Go-Go and Arcadian Bakery fueled shoppers, including members of the newly launched “Young Professional Partnership,” who hit the well-curated racks of apparel for some great finds, from Chanel shoes to Tiffany china, as DJ Sun spun lively tunes.
The event, held from 6 to 8 pm after the shop closed, raised over $25,000 for Blue Bird Circle, which supports services and research for children affected by neurological disorders.
