Life Flight team displays its barbecue skills as a thanks for a generous $100,000 check

The scoop: Life Flight's Smokin' Choppers moved their massive grill into the backyard for a smoked brisket barbecue party at which Heroes in Health's Ben Buchanan presented Life Flight medical director Dr. Joseph Love and administrative director of Life Flight Eric von Wenckstern with a $100,000 check, money earned at the Heroes in Health third annual Sporting Clay Shoot.
“As a Heroes in Health member," host Jason Smith told the gathering, "you are able to connect directly to Memorial Hermann’s stellar doctors and researchers as well as learn about the ever expanding and changing healthcare landscape.”
