Sharp shooters aim high to raise record-breaking amount at Memorial Hermann's Sporting Clay Shoot

The scoop: More than 275 sharp shooters and friends of Memorial Hermann Hospital system spent their Leap Day aiming high for a good cause. They raised a record-breaking $240,000 to benefit Memorial Hermann Life Flight, Houston’s first air-ambulance in the sky. The helicopter made a special landing just before lunch was served. Heroes for Health is a young professionals advocacy group that supports Memorial Hermann.
Who: Heroes in Health Steering Committee members and event co-chairs Ben Buchanan and Judy and Jacob Roberts, along with Heroes in Health members Jason Johnson, Max Mischer and Rachel Heins.
