Doubleheader for charity has flappers and feather boas fueling Roaring '20s fun and golf tournament action
What: Eye Care for Kids' "The Roaring 20/20s: A Very Gatsby Gala."
Where: Hilton Post Oak Hotel.
The 411: The fundraising began with the Gatsby-themed gala, chaired by Michelle DesChenes and Anita Alberger. Fox News reporter Rashi Vats emceed the evening that raised funds to support free vision care for Houston's neediest children. More than 350 stepped out in '20s themed costuming while the Ronnie Renfrow Big Band brought back the oldie but goodie tunes. The evening began with a song from the Isaac Sisters.
The following day, the gents headed to the greens of Quail Valley Golf Club for the 17th annual Golf Fore Sight Tournament.
