Courageous veterans honored at Impact A Hero Hall of Fame 'Diamonds & Denim' Gala

The scoop: More than 120 war heroes and family members were honored at the 12th annual gala dinner that benefits Impact A Hero, a nonprofit organization that provides emotional and financial support for severely wounded or disabled veterans injured in the post 9/11 combat and their families.
Inducted into the Hall of Fame were Army Sergeant First Class Dana Bowman (Ret.), Air Force Technical Sergeant Dallas Bozeman, Medal of Honor Recipient Marine Corporal Jason Dunham (KIA), Army Staff Sergeant Shilo Harris (Ret.), and Army Major William Lyles (Ret.).
KPRC Channel 2 sports director Randy McIlvoy emceed the evening, which also included a banquet and live auction. Keeping with the "Diamonds & Denim" theme, a number of attendees dressed in western attire.
