Women of Wardrobe shop 'til they drop for Dress for Success
Dress for Success' youth group, Women of Wardrobe, poured into Elaine Turner in Rice Village recently for a membership appreciation party that introduced the young women to Turner's fab luxury handbag and shoe designs.
Throwing calorie caution to the winds, WOW members feasted on cake balls and yummy tacos from Fusion Taco. While sips of wine fueled the shopping enthusiasm, the chic shoes and delectable purses sold like hot cakes with 15 percent of the sales going to Dress for Success. That organization provides economically-disadvantaged women with professional attire, a support network and career development tools.
Leading the charge (so to speak) were WOW president Kim Brown plus Lauren Levicki, Linda Cole, Allison Bagley, Monica McNeill, Kristy Junco, Nicole Brende, Heather Domingue, Jessica Earnest, Laura Thames and Sarah Wicker.
