Stylish crowd celebrates launch of online home decor and gift shop: Gourmet marshmallows, anyone?
Celebrating the launch of Houston entrepreneur Beth Delozier-Hayes' online home decor and gift shop, Manor, a stylish crowd mingled and shopped at Briargrove-area Fiori Spa. Over 150 women perused goods from Manor, which carries brands such as Ro Sham Beaux, Caitlin Wilson Textiles and Jana Bek, snapping up items such as gourmet marshmallows, ornate coasters and a gold piggy bank.
Twenty percent of the sales went to support Ronald McDonald House, a non-profit which assists in helping sick children heal with their families by their side.
From the merchandise to party vibes, whimsical was the theme of the evening. The event, hosted by fashion blogger Carrie Colbert, featured a 1960’s pool party chic theme.
Fittingly, the Wine Garden at Fiori was decked out with a hand-painted wall of retro beach balls by Ashley Rose of Sugar and Cloth and larger than life pool inflatables, a flamingo and a swan. Hanging metallic pinatas by Cake and Confetti and custom swan and flamingo artwork by Holly Vogt Wilkison added extra glitz to the festive scene.
Guests sipped cocktails and skinny margaritas while enjoying bites including sweet and savory crepes from Creative Crepes, gourmet ice cream sandwiches from Ricca, boozy ice cream from The Tipsy Dessert Bar and decorate your own donuts from Glazed.
Spotted shopping for a good cause: Kristen McDaniel, Melina McCarty, Kristina Wilson, Tracy Faulkner, Chau Nguyen, Karina Barbieri, Meredith Staggers and Carolyn Shaffer.
