Guys joined the girls for a rocking night at Hotel ZaZa where gaming tablesbuzzed for Bo's Place
OK, enough of this "girls' night out" stuff. Supporters of Bo's Place did a turn again this year on that popular fundraising theme to reprise last year's lively "Girls & Guys Night Out."
But unlike the unisex party of 2010, where guys did their thing in one space and the gals did their girly thing in another, Thursday night, the sexes partied together at Hotel ZaZa. And it was a smashing success.
Chairs Patsy Fox and Amanda Fox (mother/daughter) and Gary Kappler and Cullen Kappler (father/son) were beaming over the fab turnout of more than 550 guests who helped raise in the neighborhood of $240,000. It was a great mix of young professionals and established supporters of the non-profit bereavement center for children and families.
Guys and gals both got into the gambling spirit at various casino tables and happily emptied their wallets at the silent auction tables, at the big board and in the live auction. When they had spent their energy with Lady Luck, guests could graze through a field of food stations representing more than a dozen restaurants and caterers.
Much of the fun of the night was the Festari and Tootsies fashion show in which the models were members of the host committee, creating a cacophony of cheers from the partygoers.
Celebrating the night were Brittany and Travis Cassin, Kirby and Rainey Janke, Abe Pacetti, Alison and Jonathan Plumhoff, Caroline Gray, Ryan Smith, Lindsey Johnson, Whitney Janke and Ashley Birdwell.
