Restaurants across the Houston area are following the lead of local school districts and other institutions by making the decision to close for service on Tuesday, January 16. Many restaurants remain open to serve customers. Diners looking for a hot meal are strongly encouraged to proceed cautiously, as bridges and freeway overpasses may be icy.

Thankfully, the city should be back to normal by tomorrow. Highs on Wednesday are predicted to reach the 50s.
