let's get social
Mammoth new Heights bar takes the party indoors with swing-worthy chandelier, LED wall, and champagne brunch
One of the Inner Loop’s most energetic bar districts has welcomed a new concept devoted to martinis and bubbles. The Heights Social is now open at 1213 W 20th St.
Located in the Shady Acres neighborhood next to Drift Bar, Heights Social offers 8,500-square-feet of space for eating, drinking, and partying. Unlike the patio bars that are near it in the Shady Acres neighborhood, Heights Social is fully indoor and climate controlled.
That interior features a number of eye-catching design elements, including a 46-foot LED wall and an enormous, 101-inch Restoration Hardware chandelier. Sports fans will find plenty of TVs for watching their favorite teams. On weekends, DJs will keep the energy up until late at night.
The drink menu focuses on draft cocktails, including an espresso martini. Weekend brunch service will feature a champagne cart from 11 am-3 pm with a selection of bubbles by-the-glass and bottle.
Chef Kyle Dennis, formerly of Crisp, serves a menu that includes thin crust pizzas, charcuterie, and a braised short rib panini.
“Our goal was to introduce a unique destination where social Houstonians could find their new favorite martini, craft cocktail, or try a glass of high-end champagne,” assistant general manager Kim Cole said in a statement. “We were purposeful in our design to create a truly one-of-a-kind experience, and we are thrilled to be introducing The Heights Social to Houston.”
