Blooming healthy-eating restaurant sprouts 4th Houston location in Town & Country
A restaurant devoted to healthy eating is coming to Town & Country. Flower Child will open its fourth Houston-area location in late 2023.
The new restaurant will be located in Building 5, directly next to apparel retailer Athleta. It will join Flower Child locations in the Heights, Uptown Park, and The Woodlands.
Part of Arizona-based Fox Restaurant Concepts, Flower Child caters to a wide array of diets with plenty of dishes that are vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free. The fast casual restaurant serves lunch and dinner daily.
The menu covers a wide range of toasts, salads, bowls, entrees, and wraps. Standout dishes include the Mother Earth bowl (sweet potatoes, portobello mushrooms, avocado, broccoli pesto, and red pepper miso vinaigrette), the Flying Avocado wrap (smoked turkey, gouda, romanie, tomato, and avocado hummus), chicken enchiladas, and the Brussels Sprouts & Organic Kale Salad (red grape, organic apple, pink grapefruit, white cheddar, smoked almond, and apple cider vinaigrette).
The Cheesecake Factory acquired Fox Restaurant Concepts in 2019 as part of a $353 million deal. Fox continues to operate both Flower Child, Blanco Tacos & Tequila, and other brands as a wholly-owned subsidiary of its corporate parent. Overall, the company has more than 60 locations nationwide and employs over 5,000 people.
