Bikes, BBQ and where to watch the Bills: Pass & Provisions chefs tout favoriteHouston hangouts
One's a native and one hails from upstate New York, but both Seth Siegel-Gardner and Terrence Gallivan, chef-owners of The Pass & Provisions have made Houston their stomping ground.
Now the chefs are following in the footsteps of fellow Just August Project alum Justin Yu and giving GQ readers a tour of their favorite Houston spots.
Just down the street from Just August, it's no suprise that bakery and breakfast taco hotspot La Guadalupana made the list, and it looks like Houstonians can find not only Yu but also the P&P guys at West Alabama Ice House eating tacos from the nearby food truck, Tacos Tierra Caliente.
Also on the must-see (or taste) list: Bikes from West End Bicycles, the "excellent pinball selection" at Poison Girl, Monica Glenn's desserts at Uchi and cheap Vietnamese food at Huynh.
One surprise is that Gallivan can sometimes be found at Christian's Tailgate to watch Buffalo Bills games with the team's local fanbase, despite the fact that "my wife hates it."
