Have your late summer Wednesdays felt a little stale?
Never fear. Downtowners can now once again make lunch so fresh and so yummy at the City Hall Farmers Market, which returns from its summer sabbatical on Wednesday.
The market will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Wednesday. It's featuring six new vendors for fall, including Cajun cuisine from The French Fig, vegan food truck Green Seed, Tennessee-style pulled pork barbecue sandwiches from Porkside BBQ and Grill, empanadas and more from Lucia's Especialidades Argentinas, citrus from Sturdivant Farms and a variety of lunch faves from It's a Wrap food truck, plus 30 other popular vendors.
The farmers market is also starting the fall season off strong with two big names cooking at its My Table's Chef Corner this Wednesday: Jamie Zelko of Zelko Bistro and Rebecca Masson of Fluff Bake Bar and Top Chef: Just Desserts. Masson will be assembling and offering samples of her famous fluffernutter cookies.
