The New York Times takes a Korean taco truck tour — and name checks Fusion Taco

It's not tricky to pinpoint the beginning of the new Korean tacos craze. That credit goes to Los Angeles's Roy Choi, who mixed Asian and Mexican influences and gourmet taste with street food delivery (and prices) in his Kogi BBQ truck.
What's harder is figuring out exactly how far that trend has spread. The New York Times looked at how Korean tacos are becoming a phenomenon, not just in Choi's California, but from coast to coast.
Included in the Times' list of taco truck pioneers is Julia Sharaby and her Fusion Taco, which is described as a variation on the original Korean taco blueprint, with its short rib quesadillas and chicken satay tacos.
