RAM & CultureMap: Dine Around Houston continues with a chef-driven foodie event
It was a true foodie scene at Eleven XI last Monday when CultureMap and RAM took over the hot Midtown restaurant for the first installment of the Dine Around Houston Summer Series.
The dinner from chef Kevin Bryant sold out in just over 24 hours, and so did the second Dine Around Houston event, which takes place at The Tasting Room — Uptown Park on July 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The upscale wine bar's resident chef, Jonathan LeBlac, has crafted a special menu for the occasion, and guests can choose between a pan-seared chicken breast in rosemary-bourbon demi, with herb roasted fingerling potatoes, balsamic glazed cipollini onions and grilled garlic broccolini, or an oven-roasted red snapper in blood orange beurre blanc, with Rubuchon Yukon Gold potatoes and sautéed haricot verts.
Each dish comes with a wine pairing and special dessert — a bread pudding made from brioche soaked in vanilla custard and cinnamon sugar, served with white chocolate sauce — all for just $12. Proceeds benefit PULSE, St. Luke's Health System's young professional group.
As if that mouthwatering menu wasn't enough to entice, perhaps the chance to win admission to the third Dine Around Houston event, plus a gift card to The Tasting Room, will sway you.
For those perks and more, attendees can take a photo of one of RAM's luxury trucks outside of the event, then upload it to Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #RAMIGRAM and The Tasting Room — Uptown Park as the check-in location.
The more Dine Around Houston events you attend through the end of September, the better chance you have at winning the grand prize: A weekend staycation from CultureMap and RAM that includes one night at Hotel Sorella with complimentary breakfast, a pair of movie tickets to Studio Movie Grill and dinner for two at Texas de Brasil.
