Fox News gets it wrong again: Picks San Antonio chef as winner over Houston'ssteak master
After defeating Bryan Caswell in a WalMart parking lot to take the Houston steak title in April, Ronnie Killen of Killen's Steakhouse flew to New York this week to battle seven other chefs for grill supremacy.
Competing on Fox & Friends outside the network's Manhattan studio, Killen made it into the all-Texan final round, going head-to-head with Daniel Nemec of Kirby's Steakhouse in San Antonio.
With host Steve Doocy declaring both rib eyes a tie and Gretchen Carlson refusing to judge, a member of the crew was pulled up to render a final decision. And the winner was . . . Nemec. But Killen still has our vote.
