Pepperoni's Grows
Suburban-based pizza chain expands to Med Center, Pearland, and Richmond
Trends may come and go, but pizza is one food that remains consistently popular. Which is why it's no surprise that local entrepreneur Ray Salti has found so much success with his Pepperoni's pizza chain.
The combination of fresh toppings, speedy service, and reasonable prices has allowed the company to expand throughout Fort Bend County. In 2014, Salti added a Montrose location that's known for its late night hours.
Now, Salti is on the move again. On Thursday, he announced plans to open three new locations over the course of the next six months: near the Texas Medical Center, in Pearland, and in the Aliana development in Richmond. If all goes well, the family-owned business will add 15 more locations over the next five years.
Diners may recognize Salti as the owner of both the Upper Kirby restaurant Bollo Woodfired Pizza and Ray's Grill in Fulshear. Like those two concepts, Pepperoni's sets itself apart by using higher quality ingredients than its competition.
"I want the Pepperoni’s delivery area to cover every part of Houston," Salti said in a statement. "We have customers all over the city pleading for us to deliver (and) we are at a point now where we can build a consistently good product to serve more of the city."
