Russo's in The Heights
Rapidly expanding Houston restaurant serves up New York-style pies to The Heights

The Heights' pizza scene is heating up. Russo's New York Pizzeria will bring its oversized pies to White Oak Drive this summer, the restaurant announced.
"We are so excited to be part of The Heights community,” Russo's founder and CEO Anthony Russo said in a statement. “The Heights boasts rich history and is one of the hottest Inner Loop neighborhoods. Now with Houston being one of the food capitals of the country, it’s no surprise it would make a perfect home for our newest location. The Heights location will open its doors to an open kitchen design, smaller and more intimate build out, which will create a unique dining experience for all guests.”
Founded in Houston, Russo's has expanded across the state and beyond, with multiple locations in the United Arab Emirates. In addition to pizza, the menu includes pastas, sandwiches, and salads. Despite its growth, each location still makes all of its pizzas and sauces from scratch.
Beyond its new location, Russo's has more plans for growth in 2020. Last year, the restaurant announced plans to open three pizzeria and brewery locations on the Katy Freeway inside the loop, in the Memorial area, and in College Station.
The property 2805 White Oak Dr. will be home at least one additional restaurant. Karne, a Korean steakhouse from Dak & Bop owner Jason Cho, will also open later this year.
