A slice of Austin comes to The Heights with new juice bar and yoga studio
A little piece of Austin is coming to The Heights with a new retail development set to feature two Austin-based wellness brands, JuiceLand and Black Swan Yoga.
Located on White Oak Drive at the intersection of The Heights Bike Trail, the remodeled building's upcoming tenants are brand new to the Houston area.
JuiceLand, which currently has 14 locations in Austin and one in Brooklyn, is known for serving organic vegetable juices and superfood smoothies, as well as grab-and-go vegan food items.
"We couldn't be more excited to invite all of our friends and fans in the Houston area to enjoy this fresh new gathering place for wellness," founder Matt Shook said in a press release.
Black Swan Yoga, the building's other tenant, is an "approachable, affordable and community-driven yoga destination," founded in Austin in 2009. Houston owners Claire Asmann, Olivia Keller and Roland Keller believe yoga is for everyone, and they partner with local business to provide free classes, as well as offering unlimited memberships for frequent yoga practitioners.
JuiceLand and Black Swan Yoga will open in January 2016.
