Sprawling Woodlands estate valued at $2.65 million flies off market in record time

It’s no secret that homes are flying off the market in the Greater Houston area’s most in-demand neighborhoods. A recent sale in The Woodlands illustrates the fervent pace of local home sales, as a massive estate has set the record as the highest publicly-recorded property closing in The Woodlands so far in August — and is the third-highest sale so far this year.
The six-bedroom, six-bathroom 9,000-square-feet property at 10 Saint Peters Gate has sold for a record $2.65 million. Located in the exclusive enclave of Saint Peters Gate, the luxury residence backs to the 18th tee of the Gary Player golf course.
Amenities include an expansive outdoor entertaining spaces with pool, spa, putting green, summer kitchen, waterfall feature, and covered patios with fireplaces
“It’s light, bright, and airy,” says Lisa Gregory, of the Lisa Gregory Real Estate Group, which handled the transaction. “It’s a very livable house.” Other features include a wine room, exercise room, and game room.
While $2.65 million isn’t record-breaking in terms of price — Gregory has seen Woodlands homes valued between $10 million and $15 million — the short amount of time the home sat on the market is a reflection of demand for “the Woodlands lifestyle,” says Gregory. (She notes a property two doors down is listed at nearly $4 million.)
“People want the sense of community and the excellent schools,” Gregory notes. “And they want the outdoors — the lake, kayaking, rowing clubs, and, course, the woods.”
