No Stress Wonderland
Leave it to a pro: Holiday decorations fit for a Snow Queen
Remember last year when you packed your schedule so tightly that by the time you get around to pulling out the holiday decorations, you were too exhausted to put them up? ‘Tis the season for over-exerting — but there’s no need to let your own home do you in.
This year, remove some of your holiday stress and let a designer convert your house to a willowy wonderland. One of the many designers ready at the mark to help you tackle your seasonal slump is Regina Dorsett of Twins Design. Whether you’re too pressed for time or just need an extra push to take your decorations from hokey to heavenly, there are professionals to help.
With 20-plus years of experience under her Santa hat, Dorsett can fancy up a home as much (or as little) as the major domo would like. The lovely lady starts with the seasonal decorations the homeowner already has and adds her own unique additions to the mix. Garlands, dangles, ribbons, and bows? She’s got ‘em … plus special trinkets and treasures she’s collected throughout the year.
Recently, I watched as Regina transformed one Houston home into a holiday delight, adding gorgeous garlands to mantles and banisters, sprucing up chandeliers with sparkly ribbons and creating sensational seasonal centerpieces for all to covet. She employed fresh pine and spruce, embroidered ribbons, glittery Christmas balls and silvery pine cones in the mix. When the transformation was completed, the house was party-ready and positively glowing with jolly — eggnog not included.
The answer is simple if you are in need a holiday help elf. Check out Twins Design or rally your favorite floral designer or interior designer and turn the task over to the truly talented. Or if you’re the DIY type, Twin Design has retail space filled with a gaggle of fabulous ideas and decorations — from the cutest of ornaments to the fiercest of nutcrackers to massive Santas and sleighs.
Jack Frost will be nipping at your nose in no time.
