Fixer Upper Style
HGTV's Joanna Gaines offers Fixer Upper style with new Magnolia Home furniture collection
The better half of HGTV's Texas power couple is now offering a new furniture line. Joanna Gaines, who with husband Chip have become stars on the home renovation series Fixer Upper, has introduced the Magnolia Home Collection, which highlights her signature style of country chic and rustic contemporary.
The collection, available at Star Furniture stores in Houston, Austin and San Antonio, offers something for everyone with six mix-and-match categories, including Boho, Farmhouse, French-inspired, Industrial, Primitive, and Traditional. Furniture and accent pieces for the living room, bedroom, home office, dining room and kitchen come in 11 hand-brushed paint and finish options.
"Many furniture buyers have diverse tastes and don't fill their home with only one style," Star Furniture president Bill Ward said in a statement. "Here's a collection that understands that and is truly eclectic. It's going to be one of the most talked about and exciting new introductions in decades."
Prices range from $29.99 for a rain gauge display to a parlor settee sofa that retails for $1,580.99. A sampling of other items includes a king-sized cathedral iron canopy bed ($743.99), a red park bench ($278.99), and a wishing well wooden basket ($79.99).
Joanna Gaines, who resides in Waco with her husband, will make a personal appearance at the Star Furniture store, 16666 Barker Springs Road, on Thursday from 5:30 - 7 pm.
