Fashionable new pop-up showcases hottest Latin American designers in River Oaks haute hub
Latin American talent incubator,Stitch Lab, is expanding its nationwide presence with its first-ever pop up in Houston. The three-day, October weekend event in tony River Oaks District will showcase up-and-coming Latin American talent along with more established luxury brands.
"We couldn't think of a better way to kickstart our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month than sharing our vision with the vibrant and diverse community of Houston," said Karina Rosendo, CEO and Founder of Stitch Lab.
Kicking off with a VIP cocktail party at Le Colonial, the pop up event will also feature a charity component. A percentage of proceeds from sales will go to the Houston-based Latin Women's Initiative, which supports Latin women and children through financial assistance and volunteer initiatives.
The Stitch Lab pop up will feature a curated collection of women's apparel and accessories as well as a selection of sustainable labels from Latin America's top emerging socially conscious brands. The unique shopping event will showcase designers hailing from Argentina, Colombia, El Salvador, Venezuela, Peru, Panama, and Mexico, among others.
"Thanks to the help of our partners and sponsors, we are producing a one-of-a-kind shopping experience that will include an incredible curation of Latin American fashion designers that you won't find anywhere else," says Rosendo. "This will be an unforgettable weekend to celebrate our culture as a united force, highlighting the contributions of our rich heritage and all-inclusive cultural identity."
