Houston's luxe Blossom Hotel unfurls new Asian-inspired medical spa
An innovative and tranquil new spa inspired by Asian temples is delivering deluxe treatments to the Blossom Hotel Houston: The Total You Medical Spaopened on the hotel's second floor on March 1.
The Blossom Hotel, in the city's Medical District, is the second Houston location for The Total You, after its original in the Memorial area.
The spa, available to hotel guests and the public alike, offers a lengthy menu of services from classic facials and massages to medical aesthetics like fillers and body sculpting. It is staffed with licensed medical and aesthetic professionals "ready to expertly cater to individual beauty and wellness goals," a release says.
Among the unique and cutting-edge services are ultra-hydrating IV drip therapy, stem cell-driven exosome treatments for skin and body rejuvenation, and easy platelet rich fibrin (EZ PRF) facials, which use plasma to smooth wrinkles for smoother, youthful-appearing skin.
But for those who just want to indulge in some tranquility and self-care, a menu of massages starts at $155 for a 60-minute Classic Swedish.
“The Total You Medical Spa adds yet another dynamic service offering to Blossom Houston as we continue to evolve as Houston’s distinctive destination for business and leisure,” says Bryan Woodward, Crescent Hotels & Resorts vice president of operations, in the release. “The elevated med spa services appeal to a broad audience within the community, and give our guests another opportunity to revel in tranquility and wellness, both of which remain priorities to Blossom.”
The Total You Medical Spa's serene setting takes inspiration from traditional Asian temple architecture, most noticeable from its entrance leading into the grand 2,288-square-foot space. The interior gives way to a more modern minimalist style that relies on soft neutral colors and soothing warm lighting to create a peaceful retreat for guests. In total, the spa has four massage and treatment suites, plus a large IV drip lounge.

"The Total You Medical Spa is a sanctuary where relaxation and transformation seamlessly converge," says Caitlin Roa, marketing director of The Total You Medical Spa, in the release.
The opening comes as the Blossom Hotel celebrates its two-year anniversary. In spring 2024, the hotel is set to debut the first of three new restaurants, dim sum and sushi concept MoLiHua, with Michelin-rated chef Ho Chee Boon.
To celebrate the spa opening, Blossom Hotel Houston guests will receive an additional 15 percent off all spa services with proof of their activated key card through Labor Day (September 2).
The Total You Medical Spa is open Monday through Friday and Sundays from 10 am-6 pm, and Saturdays from 10-8 pm. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are highly encouraged.
