Several new international clothing stores are coming to The Galleria, owner Simon Property Group announced on Tuesday.
American-based Japanese fashion designer Tadashi Shoji, known for his red carpet eveningwear, luxe British menswear label Ted Baker, Spanish clothing company Massimo Dutti, and upscale jeanswear brands AG Adriano Goldschmied and Robin’s Jeans will locate in the former Saks Fifth Avenue space. They join Nobu and Fig & Olive restaurants and a number of retailers, including St. John, Cole Haan, Tumi, Coach, and Kate Spade New York, that are relocating from other areas of the massive shopping mall on Westheimer near the 610 Loop.
The space became available when Saks opened its newly built store earlier this year just west of its former location in The Galleria. The new stores and restaurants are expected to open next year.
Also coming to The Galleria: A stand-alone store for Loro Piana. The Italian brand, known for luxurious cashmere sweaters and other wool products, will open a Galleria location on street level near Neiman Marcus next year. Luxe stores Christian Louboutin and Céline also recently opened in the mall.
