May is Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, and Houston is honoring its vibrant local communities with a big bash this weekend.
On Saturday, May 18, and Sunday, May 19, from 7-9:30 pm each night, you're invited to gather at Avenida Houston for a truly memorable celebration where everyone is welcome.
This year’s AANHPI Amplified will feature a range of traditional and non-traditional musical performances on Avenida’s main stage.

This year, CBC Band, a popular Vietnamese band, and Acoustic Bollywood, an Indian music duo, will perform on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
A youth Chinese dance group from Dance of Asian America Academy and Island Breeze, a Hawaiian dance group with Tropical Rhythms Entertainment will captivate audiences with unforgettable moves.

This free event is a perfect fit for the downtown entertainment district, which is Houston's destination for live music, delicious food, welcoming hotels, and Discovery Green, the 12-acre urban park that hosts programming for the whole family.
Families are, of course, encouraged to attend AANHPI Amplify, as are couples, friends, and folks of all ages and backgrounds.
